SOVIET
The Soviet was one of our very first pedals when we started Noisemaker Effects in 2007. It quickly became a favorite of our customers with its unique, gritty overdrive tone and ability to really push an amp into a natural and raunchy overdrive.
We’ve revived the Soviet for 2025 with improvements to the original circuit to give a much better range of control on volume, as well as a significantly wider range of gain. The Soviet still has tons of volume on tap, and is true to its original gritty tone. As an added bonus, despite the name, it features far less Russian influence than the average US Politician.
Like all of our pedals, the Soviet is handmade in the USA, features true bypass switching, and uses a standard 2.1mm, negative center 9v power supply. The Soviet draws 5mA.
