SLUDGEMAKER
The Sludgemaker was one of our earliest designs nearly 20 years ago when Noisemaker Effects first started. Back then it was a one knob pedal with dual switches, tons of gain, and wild octaving. We’ve brought it back for 2024 with new artwork (though still yellow and purple, as a proper homage to the original), and circuit improvements to make this a fantastic all around fuzz with a massive gain range. From sharp leads, to thick and sludgy waves of fuzz, the standard mode does everything you could want a fuzz to do. Kick on the Sludge mode for added octaves up and down (higher notes tend to octave up, lower notes will octave down), and compressed, insanely heavy fuzz, drones, and feedback friendly behavior.
This is the highest gain fuzz we make, and it’s now incredibly versatile to cover a wide range of sounds, from classic fuzz, all the way up through over the top, noise-friendly mountains of fuzz…and everything in between.
Like all of our pedals, the Sludgemaker is handmade in the USA with high quality components, features true bypass wiring, and operates with a standard 9v, 2.1mm negative center power supply. The Sludgemaker is 4.25” wide x 2.25” tall, and uses ~5mA of power.
